Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar has said that he is 'angry with the lies' that suggest he is after a return to Barcelona.
The Brazil international, who was absent from PSG's squad for Saturday's comfortable 3-0 Ligue 1 win over Amiens, has had to contend with fresh speculation regarding his future over the past couple of days.
Spanish outlet El Mundo reported on Thursday that the 26-year-old is angling for a move back to Camp Nou, less than two years after departing for the Parisians in a record £198m transfer.
Neymar is alleged to have contacted Barca officials on five occasions to discuss a reunion, which the 26-year-old's father has since described as "fake news".
The player has now echoed these thoughts, responding to the rumours by saying: "I'm looking at fake calls and fake news, when I'm angry with lies, when false friends come to talk to me and I put on the face that I do not know anything."
PSG may be forced to cash in on one of Neymar or Kylian Mbappe if they are hit with Financial Fair Play sanctions later this year.
