Ajax defender Nicolas Tagliafico is hopeful that he will be able to complete a move to Barcelona this summer.
The Argentina international was strongly linked with a move to Camp Nou in January, but the transfer window closed with the left-back still in Amsterdam.
Tagliafico has a contract with Ajax until June 2023, but a recent report claimed that he will be leaving the club during this summer's transfer window.
The 29-year-old has said that "it will be easier" for Barcelona to sign him at the end of the season, with the defender hoping to complete a switch to Xavi's side.
"Barca? The deal was complicated for the club in January - but I think that now, in June, it will be easier", Tagliafico told TNT Sport.
The South American has again been a regular for Ajax during the 2021-22 campaign, making 22 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals and three assists in the process. body check tags ::
