Barcelona forward Philippe Coutinho has confirmed that he wants to remain at Bayern Munich once his loan spell at the Allianz Arena ends in May.
The Brazilian moved to Bavaria over the summer on a season-long loan after struggling to adapt at Barcelona, netting just 13 goals in 52 La Liga outings.
Since moving to Bayern, however, Coutinho has rediscovered some form, holding down a starting role and scoring three goals along with claiming five assists.
When asked about his future beyond this season, Coutinho told the Daily Mail: "I'm very comfortable. I plan to stay here for the year and I'm focused on my time here. If everything fits, then I'd love to stay."
Bayern have the option to sign Coutinho on a permanent deal for a fee of £102m in the upcoming summer transfer window.
