Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic has denied that he is closing in on a move to Barcelona.
The Blaugrana are rumoured to be tracking his progress, but the Bosnian said that he is happy in the Italian capital.
"I denied the rumours and it is not true that I am close to a transfer," Football Italia quotes the 22-year-old as saying.
"Clearly Barcelona are a special side, one of the best in the world, but I have a contract with Roma and I'm happy, even if things aren't going well.
"Anyone who wants me must talk to the club first."
Pjanic has scored two goals in 14 appearances in Serie A this season.
