Aleix Vidal wants to return to Sevilla in the January transfer window, according to a report from Spain.
The 27-year-old moved to Barcelona from Sevilla in the summer of 2015, but was not cleared to make his official debut until the start of 2016 due to the club's transfer ban.
Vidal did make 14 appearances in the second half of last season but has been firmly out of favour this term, and it is understood that he will leave in the winter transfer window.
The right-back's agent Graziano Battistini recently claimed that AC Milan were in pole position to sign the Spaniard, but according to Radio Marca Sevilla, Vidal wants to return to his former club on loan.
Valencia have also been credited with an interest in Vidal, who has not played for Barcelona since September.
