Barcelona are reportedly preparing to open contract talks with Sergi Roberto following the midfielder's strong start to the campaign.
The 23-year-old only made 12 league appearances for Barcelona last season, but has already featured in 10 La Liga fixtures this season, nine of which have been starts.
Roberto only signed a new long-term contract with Barcelona in 2014, while it is understood that his release clause currently stands at £21m.
According to Sport, the Catalan outfit want to push that buy-out towards the £30m mark and also hand the Spaniard improved terms following his impressive form in recent weeks.
Roberto joined Barcelona in 2006 and featured more than 100 times for Barcelona B before linking up with the first team on a permanent basis.
