Chelsea are reportedly planning to make a bid for Barcelona midfielder Alex Song.

Chelsea have reportedly planned a move for Barcelona's Alex Song during this summer's transfer window.

The Cameroon international is thought to be keen to leave Camp Nou, while the Spanish side are seeking a fee of around £10m for the 26-year-old.

According to The Metro, Jose Mourinho is keen to sign a holding midfielder to replace John Obi Mikel, who is expected to leave Stamford Bridge during the current transfer window.

Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool have also been linked with Song.
