Elche are reportedly interested in signing Barcelona winger Isaac Cuenca on loan.
The 22-year-old, who spent a period with Ajax last season, is currently recovering from a knee operation that was undertaken in October.
The Spaniard has returned to training, but it is understood that he does not feature in Gerardo Martino's plans for the second half of the season.
A number of Spanish sides have been linked with his services, but according to Mundo Deportivo, Elche have made the first move ahead of the winter transfer window.
Cuenca made his first-team Barca debut in 2011.
