Spanish outfit Barcelona are expected to fail in their reported pursuit of Napoli forward Gonzalo Higuain this summer.
It had been speculated that Barca were interested in bringing the former Real Madrid striker back to Spain after the World Cup.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Napoli will not sanction a sale unless they receive a profit on the £32m they paid Madrid for the 26-year-old just last summer.
The Catalan outfit need to strengthen other areas, however, and as a result a move is unlikely to transpire.
Higuain, who scored 24 times for Napoli last season, is currently with Argentina ahead of the World Cup this summer.
