Victor Valdes will reportedly undergo a medical with French outfit Monaco on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old, who has officially left Barcelona following the expiration of his contract, is still recovering from a serious knee injury that kept him out of this summer's World Cup.
A report last month claimed that Monaco had pulled out of the race after becoming concerned by the goalkeeper's slow recovery.
However, according to Mundo Deportivo, Valdes will have a medical with the Ligue 1 side this week.
Valdes is expected to miss at least the first two months of next season.
