Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes has reportedly decided to join French outfit Monaco when his contract at the Camp Nou expires next summer.
The 31-year-old, who has been with the Spanish side since 1995, will leave Catalonia at the end of the season when his current deal comes to an end.
Thus far there have been no indications as to the Spaniard's next move, but according to the Daily Mail, the experienced stopper has set his heart on a move to Ligue 1 side Monaco.
Barcelona, who are now preparing for life after Valdes, are reportedly close to signing Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
