Barcelona youngster Riqui Puig is reportedly set to stay and fight for his place at the club amid speculation regarding his future.
Earlier this week, it was reported that new Blaugrana manager Ronald Koeman informed Puig that he was not in his plans for the new season, and the 21-year-old should seek pastures new during the transfer window.
Puig was left out of the Barcelona squad for their Joan Gamper Trophy win over Elche at the weekend, and the midfielder is not thought to be short of offers from elsewhere.
However, according to Marca, Puig and his father travelled to the Blaugrana training ground on Monday to inform the Catalan giants that he intends to stay.
The Spaniard totalled 12 appearances across all competitions for Barca last term, and the report claims that Puig is determined to convince Koeman that he is worthy of a spot in his team.
Puig has just under three years left to run on his current deal with the La Liga giants.
