Club legend Rivaldo wants Barcelona to prioritise a reunion with Neymar during the next transfer window.
Despite leaving Camp Nou for Paris Saint-Germain in 2017, Neymar has been frequently linked with a return to the Catalan giants.
Although the La Liga leaders must raise transfer funds before being able to make a bid for the Brazil international, Rivaldo wants his former club to do all that they can to re-sign the attacker, rather than attempt to bring in Inter Milan's Lautaro Martinez.
Speaking to Betfair, Rivaldo said: "Although the young Argentinian is a good player, I think that only Neymar is a certain bet to claim a place in the starting XI side by side with [Lionel] Messi.
"[Neymar] never gets frightened and it would be a safe option for the club while Martinez is a young, talented forward that perhaps in two or three years may become a good signing. For now I think the club should prioritise Neymar."
Unless Neymar expresses a desire to extend his contract at PSG past 2022, the French outfit may be open to a sale.
