Roma have reportedly joined the race to sign Barcelona right-back Sergino Dest this summer.
The ex-Ajax man has been forced to compete with 38-year-old Dani Alves for the right-back spot since January, and the veteran Brazilian could be set to stick around at Camp Nou for one more season.
Furthermore, with the Blaugrana also thought to be plotting a move for Noussair Mazraoui, Dest's future in Catalonia has been persistently called into question recently.
Former club Ajax and Chelsea have both been linked with a move for the USA international, and Corriere dello Sport claims that Roma have also entered the race for his services.
The report claims that Jose Mourinho's side are unlikely to sign Ainsley Maitland-Niles from Arsenal on a permanent basis, while Diogo Dalot is an alternative option for the right-hand side.
Dest has registered three goals and four assists in 67 games for Barcelona across all competitions since arriving in 2020, and the 21-year-old's contract with Xavi's side does not expire until 2025.
