Schalke 04 are reportedly keen to sign Barcelona centre-back Jean-Clair Todibo on a permanent deal.
The 20-year-old joined Schalke on loan during the January transfer window and made seven appearances for the German outfit before European football was halted.
David Wagner's side allegedly have the option of signing Todibo on a permanent deal for €25m (£22.9m) this summer, and according to Bild, the Bundesliga outfit are keen to complete a move.
The defender, who has been capped at Under-20 level by France, joined Barca from Toulouse in January 2019 but has largely struggled to make his mark at Camp Nou.
Indeed, the Frenchman has been restricted to just five first-team appearances for the Catalan giants.
Todibo's exit could open the door for Barca to move for Manchester City's Aymeric Laporte, although RB Leipzig's Dayot Upamecano has also been strongly linked with Quique Setien's side.
