Barcelona boss Quique Setien has acknowledged that Lautaro Martinez may be motivated to play alongside Lionel Messi at Camp Nou.
Having impressed for Inter Milan this season, the Argentina international is being strongly linked with a switch to the Catalan giants during the next transfer window.
While there is uncertainty over a deal being concluded due to the coronavirus pandemic, Setien admits that he can see why the 22-year-old may want to represent the La Liga leaders.
Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, Setien said: "Messi likes him? We will have to ask him. All good players can attract Barcelona's interest.
"As well as the fact that for many the fact of being able to play with Leo represents a huge incentive. Who wouldn't want to play with Messi?"
Despite Martinez having a release clause in the region of £96m, Barcelona are likely to favour a proposal which includes one player in part-exchange.
