West Ham United have reportedly opened talks regarding a loan deal for Barcelona midfielder Alex Song.
The former Arsenal midfielder has been linked with a move away from Camp Nou throughout the summer, with AC Milan and Inter Milan the latest clubs to be linked with his signature.
However, according to Sky Sports News, West Ham boss Sam Allardyce has targeted the Cameroon international as he looks to strengthen his squad before the end of the transfer window.
The 26-year-old made 138 appearances for Arsenal before he left the Gunners to sign for Barcelona in 2012.
