Cristiano Tello has reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona over a new contract.

The 21-year-old's previous deal was due to expire next summer, which would have meant that he was free to discuss terms with other clubs from January 2013.

However, the attacker has now penned a fresh deal until the the summer of 2016, according to Marca.

The report has also claimed that the contract includes a release clause in the region of £8m.

Tello has scored three goals in all competitions for Barca so far this season.
