New Barcelona coach Tito Vilanova has insisted that he would have no qualms about selecting some of the club's reserve players next season.
The coach recently confessed that he is keen to add a defensive midfielder to his squad before the transfer window closes next month, with Athletic Bilbao Javi Martinez a target.
However, should a transfer not be possible, Vilanova has revealed that he would willingly use players that are already at the Nou Camp.
"The pre-season will decide the size of our squad," Vilanova told AS. "We have a reduced squad and they will all feel useful. I like this possibility. We can see how the players are accepted or in some cases sent to stay in Barca B.
"If we can find a player that can play at centre-back and full-back then perfect. If not, then we will try home-grown players."
Vilanova has succeeded Pep Guardiola, who is taking a 12-month sabbatical from football.
