Sports Mole rounds up Saturday's League One action as Oldham throw away a two-goal lead to draw with Doncaster, days after calling off a deal to sign Ched Evans.

Oldham Athletic threw away a two-goal lead against Doncaster Rovers at Boundary Park in their first game since deciding against a deal for convicted rapist Ched Evans.

Goals from Jabo Ibehre and George Elokobi looked to have to wrapped up victory for Lee Johnson's men against the Vikings.

However, Nathan Tyson pulled a goal back for Paul Dickov's side before James Coppinger's 95th-minute equaliser completed a troubled week for the Latics with a point.

Former Oldham striker Matt Smith was again on the scoresheet as Bristol City moved back to the top of the table with a comfortable 4-0 win against Notts County.

Joe Bryan, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Derrick Williams were also on target for the Robins, who are now three points clear of Swindon Town.

MK Dons lost ground on the leaders, but battled back from two-goals down against relegation-threatened Crawley Town.

The hosts had outfield player Matt Harrold in goal for most of the game following an injury to first-choice keeper Brian Jensen, and manager Dean Saunders not having a second-choice stopper on the bench.

Izale McLeod, a former Dons player, scored twice as the Sussex outfit looked poised for an unlikely victory, but Will Grigg and Dele Alli scored late on to earn Karl Robinson's men a point.

Preston North End also fell further behind in the race for an automatic promotion place following a defeat at Sheffield United, with second-half goals from Marc McNulty and Jamal Campbell-Ryce keeping the Blades in the top six.

Bradford City have retained fifth place, but fell to defeat against Rochdale after playing much of the game with 10 men following keeper Jordan Pickford's early red card at Valley Parade.

Calvin Andrew's 93rd-minute goal gave the Lancashire club a vital victory in their quest for a top-six berth.

Chesterfield are just one point outside the playoff positions after an emphatic victory over Port Vale, with goals from Armand Gnanduillet, Eoin Doyle and Charlie Raglan proving more than enough for the Spireites.

Peterborough United's slide from the promotion picture continues after they fell to a fifth defeat in six games at home to struggling Colchester United. Second-half strikes from Freddie Sears and Elliott Hewitt gave the Essex outfit three points.

Crewe Alexandra are out of the bottom four after Nicky Ajose's penalty set the Railwaymen on their way to a 3-1 victory over Gillingham, who now languish in the relegation zone.

Yeovil Town are rooted to the foot of the table after goals from George Waring and Conor Hourihane gave Barnsley a win that moves them into 16th.

Scunthorpe United also continued their move away from the drop with an emphatic 4-1 win away to Walsall, with Leicester City youngster Tom Hopper scoring his first goal since completing a loan move earlier this week.

Leyton Orient remain just above the bottom four after Gareth Evans's goal moments after half time gave Fleetwood Town victory at Brisbane Road.
