Barnsley manager Lee Johnson has expressed his disappointment at his side's performance against Burton Albion this afternoon, despite the Tykes producing a 1-0 win.
Burton produced the majority of the game's chances, but the hosts claimed victory thanks to a Conor Hourihane penalty in the second half.
Speaking to club reporters after the game, Johnson said: "We were flat today. I'm disappointed with the performance but pleased with the result. Make no mistake, Burton are a good side.
"Marc Roberts was solid today. I thought we were solid, generally.
"To be fair to the fans, we must improve and I apologise for that."
Barnsley will take on Millwall at The Den on Tuesday.
