Niko Kovac has been named as the new head coach of Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.
In September, Bayern replaced Carlo Ancelotti with Jupp Heynckes on an interim basis and the veteran boss has successfully guided the club to the league title and the Champions League semi-finals.
However, Bayern have revealed that the 72-year-old will step down from his role at the end of the campaign as he completes his fourth stint in charge of the German giants.
Kovac - who is currently in charge of Eintracht Frankfurt - has penned a three-year contract at the Allianz Arena after a successful period at the Commerzbank-Arena.
Frankfurt currently sit in fifth position in the top-flight standings, while Kovac also has experience on the international stage with his native Croatia.
