Two of the European hopefuls for this season have started fairly brightly and find themselves in second and fifth place respectively.

Another entertaining encounter between these two top sides is to be expected on Saturday, with goals normally provided in abundance. We say Leverkusen will upset the current odds and edge out BVB due to their strong start to the season and their opponents' inconsistency, particularly away from home.

Union Berlin vs. Augsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)
Seeking their first three points of the new Bundesliga campaign, Augsburg will travel to the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei to face Union Berlin on Saturday afternoon.
The visitors have conceded eight goals in their opening three league games, while the hosts have scored in seven of their last eight top-flight matches, which includes results from last season.
We say: Union Berlin 2-0 Augsburg
Even though Union Berlin will have one eye on their Europa Conference League clash with Slavia Prague next week, we expect Fischer to name a strong side that should have enough quality to claim all three points on Saturday.
The visitors have looked vulnerable defensively so far this campaign and we think that they may struggle to keep a clean sheet once again in the German capital.

Two of the surprise packages of the new Bundesliga season so far meet at the Schwarzwald-Stadion on Saturday, as Freiburg welcome FC Koln.
Currently sitting in the European places in the table, neither side will have welcomed the international break halting their strong starts to the campaign.
We say: Freiburg 2-1 FC Koln
An entertaining game should be on the cards here, with both sides hopefully looking to play on the front foot after their strong starts to the season. However, Freiburg's home advantage should be enough to see them edge out Koln by a 2-1 scoreline we say.

Hoffenheim vs. Mainz 05 (Saturday, 2.30pm)
The end of the international break sees the Bundesliga return to action on Saturday, which includes Hoffenheim hosting Mainz 05 at the PreZero Arena.
The hosts will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the new season before the break, whilst the visitors will be hoping to pick up from where they left off after tasting victory last time out.
We say: Hoffenheim 1-1 Mainz 05
Hoffenheim would normally be expected to beat a side like Mainz at home, with the visitors usually struggling at the bottom of the table. However, with Mainz's fantastic form dating back to February, we are expecting them to get something from this game. A tight 1-1 draw seems likely.

Greuther Furth vs. Wolfsburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)
Bundesliga leaders Wolfsburg head to struggling Greuther Furth on Saturday, as league action returns after the international break.
The newly promoted hosts have only managed one point from their opening three league matches, whilst the visitors have won all three under their new manager.

Although Wolfsburg have not particularly impressed performance-wise despite the results, they should have more than enough quality to see off a poor Greuther Furth side. The visitors are yet to hit top form so it may remain a narrow victory only.

RB Leipzig vs. Bayern (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Former RB Leipzig head coach Julian Nagelsmann takes his Bayern Munich side to the Red Bull Arena, where two teams battling for the Bundesliga title will lock horns on Saturday evening.
Three of the last four meetings between the two sides have ended as a draw, though Bayern were victorious when they last visited Die Roten Bullen, securing a narrow 1-0 win in April.
We say: RB Leipzig 1-3 Bayern Munich
As strong as Bayern have been going forward, they have looked vulnerable at times defensively and so Leipzig with be hoping to take advantage of these issues on Saturday.
However, the firepower the visitors possess should help them secure all three points at the Red Bull Arena.
