Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku scores twice as Belgium claim a 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia in Tuesday night's friendly in Brussels.

Romelu Lukaku scored twice as Belgium recorded a comprehensive 4-0 win over Saudi Arabia in Tuesday night's friendly in Brussels.

Michy Batshuayi and Kevin De Bruyne were also on the scoresheet as Roberto Martinez's charges began their preparations for the World Cup with their first match of the year.

The visitors fell behind on 13 minutes when a poor pass out from the back gifted the ball to De Bruyne, who quickly threaded a pass into the path of Lukaku.

The Manchester United forward had plenty of time and space to turn and coolly slot into the bottom-left corner of the net from 20 yards out.

Lukaku grabbed his second six minutes before the break after picking up Eden Hazard's pass following a jinking run and rolling the ball beyond Saudi goalkeeper Fawaz Al-Qarni.

The Red Devils dominated the encounter thereafter and scored their third when Batshuayi curled a left-footed finish past sub keeper Mohammed Al Owais 13 minutes from time.

De Bruyne then added the cherry on top moments after the restart, a surging counterattack leading to the Manchester City star rifling into the bottom-right corner of the net.
