Benfica vs. Portimonense (Friday, 7.00pm)
Benfica and Portimonense will be looking to bounce back from defeats at the end of 2022 when they lock horns at the Estadio da Luz for their Primeira Liga clash on Friday evening.
The hosts and top-flight leaders were beaten by Braga last time out, while the visitors lost against Casa Pia and have suffered defeat in four of their last five away games in all competitions.
We say: Benfica 2-0 Portimonense
Both teams will be keen to put aside their disappointing results last week and begin 2023 in positive fashion with a victory on Friday.
Portimonense are sure to use last season's triumph at the Estadio da Luz as motivation for this contest, but we believe that Benfica will have too much quality for the visitors and should do enough to secure a routine win.

Famalicao vs. Vizela (Friday, 9.15pm)
Famalicao will be looking to put some more breathing room between themselves and the relegation zone when they take on Vizela in the Primeira Liga on Friday night.
The home side are currently 14th in the league standings, while the visitors are faring slightly better and will commence proceedings in 11th.
We say: Famalicao 0-1 Vizela
Vizela have been very solid defensively this season, and for that reason we expect them to keep a clean sheet, in a narrow victory on the road.
Pacheco's side comfortably dispatched of Guimaraes last time out, a team that are far superior to Famalicao, and so they should be expected to make it three wins on the spin in the Primeira Liga.
