Birmingham City boss Gary Rowett has refused to get carried away by his side's shock win over Watford in the Championship.
The Blues secured a 2-1 victory in Rowett's first home game in charge on Tuesday night as Clayton Donaldson netted late on to knock Watford off the top of the table.
Despite seeing his team stun the promotion hopefuls and move to within goal difference of safety, Rowett is wary to heap too much praise on the players.
"I certainly think we shouldn't play with any fear here. You could see the pressure on one or two at some stage but I felt they overcame it very well," he told BBC Sport.
"The crowd will get behind you but only if you give them something. They were ready to grab something and that performance will have encouraged them."
Birmingham continue their Championship campaign on Saturday when they entertain Cardiff City.
