Chris Wood scored a hat-trick as Birmingham City defeated Millwall 3-0 at St Andrews this afternoon.
The on loan West Bromwich Albion striker broke the deadlock after 28 minutes by turning in a pass from Jean Beausejour.
Hosting Birmingham continued to dominate the match but did not extend their lead until just after the hour mark.
New Zealand international Wood collected a pass from Adam Rooney before drilling into the bottom right hand corner from just inside the area.
The 19-year-old rounded off the scoring one minute from time when he headed Chris Burke's cross past visiting goalkeeper David Forde.
Next up for Chris Hughton's Birmingham is a trip to Southampton a week today, while Millwall host West Ham United next Saturday in a lunchtime fixture.
