Birmingham City have reportedly moved to the brink of agreeing a deal for Sheffield United striker Che Adams.
Earlier this summer, the Blues made the 20-year-old one of their main transfer targets but late last month, manager Gary Rowett suggested that he was likely to miss out on the Blades forward.
However, according to Sky Sports News, the Yorkshire outfit could be about to agree to sell the player for a fee that could rise to £1.9m.
The England Under-20 international scored 11 times in 36 appearances in League One last year.
