Birmingham City midfielder Wade Elliott has revealed that he is eager to extend his loan spell with Bristol City.
The 35-year-old, who arrived at Ashton Gate at the end of January, saw his short-term deal expire on the weekend.
Elliott now hopes that the two clubs can agree on fresh terms that will last for the rest of the season.
"I've found everything here to be very good since I joined Bristol City and I've enjoyed it here," he told the Bristol Evening Post.
"There is a great bunch of lads here, the setup is fantastic, this is a good club and a great place to be.
"I've enjoyed getting some games and, if the chance arises for me to come back, then I will be pleased with that. The clubs are talking and, depending on what comes back, I'll be very happy to stay."
Elliott played a total of seven games for Bristol during his time in the South West.
