Blackburn Rovers have signalled their intention to sign two new strikers after Leon Best was ruled out for six months.
Best is a summer signing from Newcastle United but he suffered an injury in a pre-season friendly with AEK Athens, and Blackburn's global advisor Shebby Singh has revealed that the club will return to the transfer market for a forward.
Singh told BBC Radio Lancashire: "What we have to do now is find a good replacement and supplement that.
"There is still time for us to do that. Three weeks will be enough time for us to ensure we start the season with a very competitive strikeforce."
It is believed that Blackburn are interested in Huddersfield Town striker Jordan Rhodes, but they have been informed he is not for sale.
