Blackpool defender Tom Aldred has suggested that the team is improving, despite slumping to defeat at Gillingham.
The Gills needed a Bradley Dack goal to beat the Tangerines, who remain in the League One relegation zone.
However, Aldred is confident that Blackpool are beginning to turn the corner in terms of their performances.
He told the club's official website: "The performances and positive signs have been there, it's just case of getting over the line. At Gillingham we were on top for large periods, but we need to be seeing games through.
"We've gone away to the side top of the league and left disappointed not to have taken any points with us. I'm not sure how we came away with nothing, we're devastated.
"At the end of the day we've got to start picking up points because that's what separates the league. The stats don't lie, we've lost five from seven, but the signs are there for all to see."
Blackpool picked up their first win of the season away to Scunthorpe United last weekend.
