Young striker Tom Barkhuizen has spoken of his happiness at being included in Blackpool's pre-season trip to Portugal.
The 19-year-old will now spend the next few days training with the senior squad as they step up their preparations for the new Championship season.
Having finished as Hereford's top scorer during a loan spell last campaign, the centre-forward has now switched his attention to proving his worth to manager Ian Holloway.
"It's an honour to be training for a whole week with the other players here in Portugal," he told the club's official website. "At first I kind of thought I would be staying behind with the development squad but I'm delighted to be here.
"The manager just wants to see what I can do, he said he was delighted with what I did last season and he wants to see how far I am away from the rest of the lads.
"I grew up a lot during my loan spell last season and I was able to adapt my game to different conditions. It was really good and really helpful so I'm thankful to Hereford and the gaffer for letting me go out on loan."
Barkhuizen scored 11 goals during his stint with Hereford.
