A number of Blackpool supporters performed an alleged protest against the club during their side's Championship clash against Burnley.
Play was temporarily halted when yellow tennis balls bounced onto the field early in the second half of the clash.
Shortly before, Michael Kightly scored to give visiting side Burnley the lead at Bloomfield Road.
The Clarets wrote on their Twitter page: "Blackpool fans have halted the game with a pre-arranged protest, throwing yellow tennis balls onto the Bloomfield Road pitch."
Reports have claimed that the protest was targeted at Blackpool's chairman Karl Oysten.
