Lee Clark has slammed the "absolutely shocking" performance of his players in Saturday afternoon's heavy defeat at Bournemouth.
A first-half treble from Brett Pitman put the Championship leaders on their way at the Goldsands Stadium, before Callum Wilson converted from the spot shortly after the restart to seal a comfortable 4-0 victory.
The latest setback in Blackpool's flailing season leaves them 18 points from safety with just nine games of the season left to play.
"We just gave absolutely shocking goals away that shouldn't be given away in professional football," Clark told the club's official website. "It's soul destroying for me and I feel for the supporters who made the long journey down again. It is not acceptable.
"All the things we talked about, what Bournemouth would do and what they were good at, they never came up with anything unexpected. They never did things that we didn't think they would do, so we've got to be better."
Blackpool, still with just four league wins to their name all season, return to action in midweek against Charlton Athletic.
