Blackpool have reportedly held talks with Owen Coyle to become the new manager at the Championship club.
The Seasiders are looking for a new boss following Michael Appleton's departure to Blackburn Rovers last month.
Former Burnley and Bolton Wanderers manager Coyle is understood to have met with chairman Karl Oyston on Thursday over the vacancy at Bloomfield Road, according to the Blackpool Gazette.
The Scot has been out of work since October when his contract was terminated at the Reebok Stadium.
