Blackpool are said to be lining up a loan deal for Queens Park Rangers outcast Joey Barton.
The Rangers midfielder was banned for 12 matches at the end of last season after committing a series of offences against former club Manchester City.
Barton has been training with Fleetwood Town and looked set to complete a move to League Two, which could reduce the length of his ban by over a month.
Seasiders boss Ian Holloway has approached QPR and wants the 29-year-old to boost the Tangerines promotion push, according to The Mirror.
