Belgian international Jonathan Legear has joined the Championship's bottom club Blackpool on a deal until the end of the season.
Legear, 27, was a free agent after leaving Belgian top-flight side KV Mechelen in the summer.
A former Anderlecht regular with Champions League football to his name, Legear had been training with the Seasiders for several weeks before they announced a permanent deal today, which includes the option of another season if he impresses.
His two Belgium caps came back in 2010 when he started two Euro 2012 qualifiers for the Red Devils.
He will not be available for tomorrow night's trip to Fulham, but could make his debut at Leeds United on Saturday.
