Blackpool have completed the signing of Scottish defender Jim McAlister.
The centre-back had been a free agent since the end of last season when he was released by Dundee.
Having spent much of the summer on trial with the League One Seasiders, the 29-year-old has now agreed terms on a two-year deal.
"The club was up in Scotland last week and I managed to spend a full week training with the boys, playing a part in a couple of games," McAlister told the club's official website.
"I'm seeking a fresh challenge and thankfully I've been given the opportunity to come here. I'm really, really looking forward to getting started."
McAlister, who has had previous spells with Greenock Morton and Hamilton Academical, made 123 appearances during his three years with Dundee.
