Bolton Wanderers have confirmed that head coach Phil Parkinson has signed a new contract with the Championship outfit, while the club's assistant manager Steve Parkin has also seen his deal extended.
Parkinson and Parkin joined Bolton last summer following their relegation to League One, and the duo helped lead the Trotters back into the second tier of English football at the first time of asking.
"I am delighted to have agreed the new contract and I'm looking forward to building on the success we enjoyed last season," Parkinson told the club's official website.
Meanwhile, Parkin added: "I'm also delighted to have signed a new deal and we're all relishing the challenges that the Sky Bet Championship will bring this season."
Bolton opened their 2017-18 Championship campaign with a 3-2 defeat at home to Leeds United on Sunday afternoon.
