Former Bolton Wanderers midfielder Ivan Campo has taken to Twitter to put forward his claim to become the Trotters' new boss.
Owen Coyle was relieved of his duties on Tuesday following a poor start to the season, but Campo believes that he is the person to take the club forward.
"After to know what its happening in the BOLTON FAMILY I want to say that of corse I would like to help the club," the 38-year-old tweeted.
"I love very special moment in my life. Big SAM. Nolan. Davo. JJ Okocha. Jussy , Djorksef, Hierro...... And all FANS OF BWCG. My Family.
"Only I need to receive a call OF PHIL GARTSIDE and I will GO to BOLTON IMMEDITALY TO HELP TO THE CLUB WITH MY EXPERIENCE.
"Ok. I would try to speak WITH PHIL GARTSIDE And after meeting the fans will know of I will GO again to Bolton or NOT."
Campo spent six years at the Reebok after joining from Real Madrid.
