Owen Coyle has heaped praise on Gary Cahill following the defender's performance during Bolton Wanderers' 4-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers this afternoon.
Coyle believes that the England international, who opened the scoring with a long-range strike, could play in a more advanced role.
"I've said it before, he has the feet that belong to a centre-forward although he operates as a centre-back," said Coyle.
"He's got unbelievable pace and great timing in the air. He's just a wonderful footballer.
"It was a wonderful goal and a tremendous victory."
Cahill has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the past few days.
