Owen Coyle believes that David Ngog can become a vital player for Bolton Wanderers, despite only scoring one goal since joining the club last year.
The French striker, who moved to the Reebok on the final day of the summer transfer window last year, had a difficult time at former club Liverpool, only scoring nine goals in 63 appearances.
Despite a lack of recent goal history, Coyle believes that the 22-year-old will improve at Bolton.
"He's a kid in terms of football and he is only going to get better," The Express quotes Coyle as saying. "He has the desire to prove a point."
Ngog struck his first goal for the club in the Trotters' 2-1 win over Everton on Wednesday.
