Bolton boss Owen Coyle has warned Swansea City fans not to boo Darren Pratley when he returns to the Liberty Stadium for the first time this weekend since moving to the Trotters in the summer.
Pratley helped the Jacks to promotion into the Premier League last season before joining Bolton because of a rumoured row with chairman Huw Jenkins.
"It is heroes and villains. But if he is not well-received, it is a bad thing," Coyle said.
"Darren left Swansea, but you only have to look at what he did for them during his time there. He gave everything that he could - and then he was out of contract.
"He might still have been there if he had been offered something. When he became available, we wanted to bring him here. No-one could question his commitment and what he did for Swansea."
Bolton are currently lingering in the relegation zone with six points from nine games, while Swansea are 15th with nine points.
