Bolton Wanderers manager Dougie Freedman has insisted that his side can still reach the playoffs in the Championship, despite a 3-2 defeat at Charlton Athletic.
The Trotters, who ended the game with nine men, let a two-goal lead slip at The Valley on Saturday to leave themselves six points off sixth place.
"I'm still confident, we've not lost ground," Freedman told Sky Sports News. "I strongly believe that.
"If we can win a couple of games and put pressure on other teams, we can get back. Today showed it's possible we can be in the playoffs.
"We've now got back-to-back home games and we have been very strong at the Reebok [Stadium]."
Bolton return to action on Tuesday when they play host to Huddersfield Town.
