Bolton Wanderers boss Neil Lennon has admitted his relief after seeing his side claim an "ugly" win over Millwall.
The Trotters picked up just their second victory in seven Championship games on Saturday as they saw off the Lions 2-0 at the Reebok Stadium.
Despite conceding that his team's performance was not an entertaining one, Lennon is happy that they were able to secure three vital points in their battle for survival.
"It's a very welcome victory," he told the club's official website. "We probably haven't played as well as we have in recent games, but we got the job done in the end.
"To win and keep a clean sheet is fantastic, and it's very important for where we are right now. It was a bit of an ugly win, if you want to call it that."
The result has lifted Bolton up to 16th place in the Championship table, 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
