Bolton Wanderers midfielder Fabrice Muamba could attend his side's Premier League encounter against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old suffered a cardiac arrest during a match against Spurs at White Hart Lane last month.
He has gone on to make a speedy recovery and manager Owen Coyle believes that this week's match would be the perfect time for Muamba to say a personal thanks.
"If Fabrice is fit and well for that then I think the game against Tottenham would be a great opportunity, because of the events that took place at White Hart Lane," said Coyle.
Bolton head into the Spurs fixture 18th in the Premier League table.
