The odds of Dougie Freedman becoming the next manager of Everton have been slashed to around 8/1.
The current Bolton Wanderers boss started the day as a 10/1 shot, but two days ago the majority of bookmakers were offering odds of up to 50/1, according to William Hill.
Freedman only took charge of Wanderers in October 2012, but reports have claimed that he could be interested in talking to Premier League outfit Everton should they make an approach for his services.
Everton have been in the market for a new manager ever since David Moyes decided that he would replace Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United this summer.
