Bolton Wanderers have announced that former Iceland international Eidur Gudjohnsen has joined the club for the rest of the season.
The former Chelsea and Barcelona striker previously had a spell with the Championship side from 1998 to 2000, and had been a free agent after coming to the end of his deal with Club Brugge earlier this year.
The Trotters still need international clearance in order for the 36-year-old, who will wear number 22 on his shirt, to be eligible for their match against Reading this weekend.
Gudjohnsen featured in 59 games during his previous stint with the club, scoring 19 goals.
