Defender Kevin McNaughton has left Cardiff City to move to Bolton Wanderers on a one-month loan deal.
The 31-year-old was a regular in the Cardiff starting lineup last season as they secured promotion to the Premier League, but he has fallen out of favour during this campaign.
The former Aberdeen full-back will remain at the Reebok Stadium until October 26, making him available for five fixtures in the Championship.
Trotters boss Dougie Freedman had been looking to strengthen his squad with his team currently bottom of the league table.
