Bolton Wanderers are said to have put a £7m valuation on Mark Davies as Swansea City continue their pursuit of the midfielder.
The 24-year-old was the subject of a bid of over £4m from Swansea earlier this week, which was rejected by the Trotters.
The Swans will increase their bid for Davies who is a potential replacement for Liverpool-bound playmaker Joe Allen, according to the Daily Mail.
Owen Coyle's side are prepared to hold out for a higher price as they must pay a sell-on fee to Davies's former club Wolverhampton Wanderers for any profit they make on the deal.
